Catch can

Any point in running a catch can on a Stock Predator. Turning in the 6100 rpm range. Thanks

I thought that it was mandatory at most tracks.

If the rule is run it straight out of the box from harbor freight, most likely no. It should be vented to the stock air box.

If the engine is showing signs of tossing oil then yes. With a 5500 rule around her we don’t have a can rule for the predator. If I see one spitting oil on the rear of the engine I tell them to hook one up and get it fixed. If they don’t I take a closer look at why it is tossing oil and they didn’t get it fixed

First though is if your turning 6100 rpm it's not stock and your way out of your rpm range

Let me explain. This is not a out of the box predator. We run Gulf Coast or NELA rules which allows modification of the motor. Will be somewhere around the 6000 to 6100 rpm range.
