Drum clutch for 212

We have some Noram shoe clutches but have had nothing but problems with one. Have no clue what’s wrong, just doesn’t engage all the time. Anyway we also have a Max Torque that we run and have no issues. What is the best if the Max Torque clutches? I see there are many different part numbers and prices. The 212 are completely stock except for a big pipe. Thanks.

Have you taken the Noram apart to see whats up? Shoes and drum look ok? Springs? They're good clutches until they, like all clutches, need some attention. Lots of good clutch guys on here talk with one of them and see about getting yours fixed if you can't do something yourself.

If it's a normal ge . Junk it. Buy something else.

Make sure it has the 2900 rpm black spring.

Yes I took it apart and couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary. The clutch only had two races on it.

If Noram is set up properly it should work fine. Maybe post some pictures to see if the forum can help you out.
