I dont really need anything for Christmas but my son is going to start racing next year so I'm curious besides go kart specific tools like durometer and things like that, what are the most handy tools that you all have that I should look into buying or asking for Christmas that I might not have already? Tools that just make tinkering on a champ kart a lot easier?

Impact gun , allen head sockets

A good pair of snap ring pliers. (Not some cheap junk). Ratchet wrenches. T handles And a good set of standard 6 point sockets. No 12 point junk.

personally i'v always used a good 12v impact so not to strip or twist studs on wheels,
7/16 deep well socket for impact, (Wheel nuts and chain sprocket)

one man kart lift. if your ever at the track by yourself or at home and the only guy in the garage... its the one high dollar piece, that once you have it you'll wonder how you did it before.
