Vintage. Stock on gas, maybe [EDIT] 24hp? Value is across the board....$200 to $1200 depending on condition, freshness, and if you can find the right buyer.
my open K78, alcohol 34mm swiss cheese cylinder, made the same peak power as my stock IKF gas reedjet. WAYYYY more area under the reedjet curve though. A much more broad curve. The K78 had a sharper rise and fall.
That's what I thought. There is no way a 1978 100cc engine can make 30 hp stock. The best air cooled 100 cc stock reeds made from late 90s/early 2000s made 28 to 30 hp maximum, and the rotaries low 30s, Ted. Even mid 90s engines were on mid 20s hp.
I have the Dyno sheet from Woltger for one of my KT's. Pre 787 cylinder as cast ports with G2 pipe. On 06-19-2002 it made 7.20 Ft-Lbs.at 8125 RPM 12.00 HP at 9625RPM. I completely believe those numbers.
