For the first time since 1995 karts are going to see action on the famous Speed Palace Port Royal Speedway!

Details are as follows.

The Race is Labor Day September 4th directly after the Labor Day Classic at the Juniata County Fair (Aproximate Start Time of 5:30)

In response to safety equipment questions.

All Helmets must be SNELL 2010 or newer.
All Champ Kart and Outlaw Kart racers must wear a fire suite.

Will track be reprepped after sprint show or will we just be going on the same surface they finish on?
 
We are BRAND NEW to kart racing. 7 year olds first kart race(and the 2nd one we have ever been to) is at Penns Creek on tomorrow the 6th.

For the Pre-Rookie class, does it have to be a champ kart or is it open to caged karts as well?

Good question , should be jr sportsmen champ , open wheel vs closed body are not a good mix but good to get all on the track. KSS , BMS , and Reaper series only allow jr sportsmen ( small buggy) champs

A few people reached out to me about adding other classes. If you read this anyone who sponors the winning money ($500) will have thier class added. I will only accept one more class by June 30th. After June 30th or the addition of one more class no other classes will be added.

Race Day Details:

Pit Gates open at 11:00 AM (Same time as Sprint Cars. Pit Pass good for both shows.)
Registration Closes at 3:30 PM
Drivers meeting at 4:00 PM
Warmups Approximately 1 HR after the conclusion of the Labor Day Classic

All Racers Park in the back pit. DO NOT UNLOAD. We will be moving to the infield when the Labor Day Classic is over. (Map will follow this post)

Raceceivers are Mandatory.

Transponders must be in pouch located on the bottom of the steering column.

You can park your trailer early. Please come and enjoy the Juniata County Fair before the race!
