Rwyb guys, how big is too big?

here you go, we have tried this setup twice. Once it worked OK, the 2nd time we kind of brought a knife to a gunfight on the motor aspect. It really needs fine tuning. We put a wingboard on a car here and won a "Open Competition" race, so I decided to try it. Again, first time we had some serious issues with the kart and missed the tires, the 2nd time we tried (pictured here) was on brake fluid and rosin. Before I get jumped, yes Im well aware its far from UAS legal, and every corner is rounded for safety.

If your really bored, here's the first time we tried it ever. Both onboard and outboard camera views. We had alot of issues and kind of threw it together last minute. We have fun, all that matters.

Dont mind, these were both a year apart, and both each time my first time back in a kart in over a year.

WingedKart1, that's pretty cool!! I'm sure in the open air outdoors that would catch some wind!! Nice peice and a good amount of work put into building that. I started sketching my design out last night, and I think I am going to follow a route similar to what Wayne is running on there karts in the NW, building a large rear spoiler and sides that mount on the last 20 inches of the existing wedge.

Wayne, wickerbill or no wickerbill on the back of the spoiler?

Thanks, Matt

Matt, a wicker will always make more downforce in the rear with a certain amount of drag attached. The drag is never anything to worry about below 60mph.

That brake fluid and rosin is not illegal in UAS. Just call it "innovation" and any and everything is legal. No pesky rules for UAS runners.
