Scaling

A good base set up is a good base set up. Different tires to match the track and adjust driving style is all you should need to do to get around most oval tracks. Except indoor racing; that's a totally different animal!
I've always thought that tires were part of the setup, maybe I'm wrong? As far as driving style is concerned, it goes without saying that pavement will need something different.
 
Every week at the shop and take the scales to the track. We are looking for hundredths of a second and EVERYTHING matters. Usually on the scales at least one time at the track.
