ATTENTION :

Track is in great shape were working on it daily! However on Saturday we have changed the start time! Why the time change?

After running our track we have proved on 3 separate races that If we put our last load of water on the track at 3pm and start practice at 4pm we do not have to water the track for the remainder of the night and there is no dust! We have had 9 cautions in 3 race nights doing it this way.

We feel bye waiting till 4pm to start in the long run it will make for better racing surface and better races with limited cautions. We don't see it saving time starting at 11am if we have to stop and water the track or have alot of cautions due to dust! We feel more productive at starting a little later with track maintenance being done for the day and then racers knowing what they got andnthe end of practice to race on! Also will not have everyone practicing and tuning then changing the track surface bye watering in the middle of the day!

On another hand in our Mid West Region we all have a problem with dust and dust makes more wrecks as seen this past weekend at a 5k show we attended that started at noon. We do not want to see people tear up there equpiment if we can do something in our power to stop/limit it ! This is not a stab at any other track. It's just a fact for our region my track will do it also if I let it!

We assure everyone we will run threw everything at a good steady pace and get the show over at a decent time! We take a lot of pride in our facility and our program. Which all will be seen when you pull in the gate. We take the same pride in our track surface and our racers that support us! We want to see some good racing and give every racer the best chance to show there talent and race on the best surface possible for this payout! Thanks for your support!

We had a 90 percent chance of rain last friday we cancled our show. It didn't rain a drop at our track. It's just summer weather in missouri! However our track can take alot of rain! If we get anything it would be a pop up shower! Nothing in the forcast to make the show not happen ! Thanks for your support!

Sounds like you have things under control. Its great to hear a track owner who not only knows what his track needs, but shares the whys. Thanks. I truly know about mother nature and racing having been in the sport for well over 50 years. NOBODY CAN CONTROL MOTHER NATURE. Was just wondering what the plan is if mother nature reers her ugly head. THANKS.

So what is going on? Still racing? Will you be making a decision today or tonight with all the rain in your area? Have a niece at the Cape and she says it hasn't been too bad today. Need to make plans. Tks.
