Semo raceway firecracker shootout! July 3rd and 4th

Just wanted to get on here and say thanks to Billy and his whole crew. You guys went above and beyond for all of us racers. Sure was a long night/morning but we all knew that going in. Not many tracks in our country do what you did for all the junior drivers. Just so everyone knows mother nature didn't really cooperate with Billy and he had to cancel the Friday show after giving it a huge attempt to get the track ran in. So we decided to run the Friday and Saturday show all on Saturday night. In doing this he took his green plate $500 to win and turned it into a $1000 to win, turned blue plate $500 to win into a $1000 to win, and added a $3000 to win pro blue plate class. Thats unheard of. Most tracks don't even offer a $3000 to win show for juniors, let alone just add it to the program. All of this on top of paying $10,015 for purple plate. Thanks again for all you did for the kids. It did not go unnoticed by this team.

I wanted to a minute to say thanks to Billy and the rest of the crew at SEMO Raceway for the insane amount of work that they did to get this race in. Awesome facility. And as stated above, to take a race weekend with weather issues, and ADD money to the program, not cut the purse is unheard of. We were just as tired as everyone else, but we appreciate what they did to get the entire show in, and we will definitely be at any big events they run in the future.
