I replaced the brake linkage going from steel to a titanium rod and aluminum forks. Saved about 4 oz.
I had similar savings going to smaller washers on the body mounting. Replacing a billet puke tank with plastic saved a few oz. Going to half size nylock nuts would probably save another few oz. The next quick weight loss on the kart will probably be replacing the heavy steel throttle linkage with all pull cable.
