turbo-charged flathead

so,the title says it all
has anyone reliably turbo'd a 5 horse?
found and bought a tiny turbo at a score for 25$ from a buddy..

before i put it on my 70-stage one buick for giggles

i want to know what it would take to make a flathead handle the airflow

Retarding the timing would be simple as well as using a colder plug to stave off cylinder temp and pre ignition. I’m not sure if the hot coils would keep the plug lit under boost tho.. The hard one would be the carb and making a fuel system that can rise in demand 1:1 with each pound of boost. It for sure would have to have the internals upgraded.

It’s hard to generate any boost worth mentioning then you have to deal with the lag. I’d wager you’ll need anti lag to make it work. I’d worry about things in the engine later.
