Last year Carson came through turns 3 and 4 on the final lap running second and somehow finished 3rd in one of the closest finishes in racing. 47 days until The 3rd Annual Jason Kimball Memorial 79 Presented by BA Odom Construction LLC. That's Jason on the left, me in the middle, and Dr. Brian Davis on the right. For those that know me, I talk mad poop on how good I am at everything. But I'll always let you know the truth, I was only good in racing because of people like Jason and Brian. But, Jason, he was a racing genius among one of his many talents. He should have been a crew chief on a Dirt or Asphalt Super Late Model. His mind was amazing, nothing was too complex.

For The 3rd Annual Jason Kimball Memorial 79 on May 3rd and 4th 2024 we will be using the same tire rules as the previous 2 events, the Vega MDH Blue. For instance, you are allowed to check in/scan 4 sets of Right Side MDH Blue Vega tires(left sides do not have to be scanned in, but still must be Vega MDH Blue) per Florida Karting Series FKS rules. You must Qualify and B-Main on these tires. However, you do not have to race the JK79 on scanned tires. But, ALL 4 tires must be Vega MDH Blue. For other classes racing on May 4th, please see FloridaKartingSeries.com for their tire rules. Once again, at ALL times for the JK79, all four tires on the kart must be Vega MDH Blue. You are allowed to check in/scan 4 sets of outside Vega MDH Blue tires (8 tires total) and these must be used for Qualifying and B-Main. However, for the actual 79 lap Jason Kimball Memorial, the tires do NOT have to be from your scanned sets, but all 4 tires must be Vega MDH Blue.

This would bring the Champions winnings from $3,579 to $4,579 for The 3rd Annual Jason Kimball Memorial 79. The 3rd installment of the Jason Kimball Memorial 79 already boasts a GUARANTEED PURSE of $15,928! Possibly a $16,928 purse for only a $79 entry!

As well, I have already spoken to David Rowland and Brian Mansfield. Lastly, per Brian Mansfield, if in 2025, the 4th Annual Jason Kimball Memorial 79 is prior to the 13th Annual Garland Rowland Memorial, they would plan on paying $1,000 extra to the winner with the same or similar requirements as this year.
This is the Trophy Check that will be presented to the driver that finishes in the Top 5 at The 12th Annual Garland Rowland Memorial on April 27th at Cross Roads Motorplex AND then WINS The 3rd Annual Jason Kimball Memorial 79 on May 4th at Cross Roads Motorplex!
