IDK what im doing wrong, I wash with Dawn dishsoap, then grind with 80 grit, then spray prep on them. My Hoosiers accept prep with in minutes as well as my Burrises, but Vega takes an hour to do so.
Quit washing with dish soap and then you are using way way too course a grit for Vegas. You may be sealing over the tire yourself. Use 400 and 600 grit by hand so you can feel when tire starts to get hot. Also use Track Tac Tac Tire Wash, Track Claw cleaner, or something similar to clean tires with, but i prefer the TT wash.IDK what im doing wrong, I wash with Dawn dishsoap, then grind with 80 grit, then spray prep on them. Used tires, no ideaHow old are the vegas? Have you wiped them alot without racing them? Or maybe only ran them a heat race?
duro to 25! do they still roll, that's soft, seems like they would burn off quick. You need new tires, our Vegas soak up prep with no issue. We beat yellows down to a duro of 25 at a local track here in NE Florida.
They do surprisingly well and last quite awhile at this particular track which is extremely low grip and kept wet.duro to 25! do they still roll, that's soft, seems like they would burn off quick.
what they run in, MUD? I didn't know you could get that low on any tire.Southern Pride here in SC when it was open was notorious for Vegas with a duro of 10. Ran Friday nights.
Wasnt mud, just good ole hard work to keep track moist, and running nights.what they run in, MUD? I didn't know you could get that low on any tire.
