LF Camber.

Clay, spinning middle to exit. More middle I would say. I believe it’s 1/10. Mychron5 says 535’ on lap timer…running about 1 5/8 front/1 & 1 1/8 rear stagger, with some very slight variation through last season. Was running 1.75 front/1.25 rear last week.

Confirm you wheel spacing, are both fronts in close ?
RR inside edge of wheel to cassette hanger close just so sidewall bulge has 1/8" clearance .
LR inside edge of wheel to cassette hanger measures ?

First off-thanks for help!

RR-5/16. Slack recommends 3/16 I believe
LR- 15/16

That is from wheel the cassette hangar edge. What do you mean, both fronts close? We installed the RF wheel spacer from slack this year, fyi. Pics hopefully show ok.

Might be a heavy 5/16. Picture is a pain to get straight on. But was hoping to illustrate where I measured from atleast

1/4” spacer behind hub on spindle, for both sides. Let me know if I’m hearing you wrong. Attaching pics of it

Have a JR1 green plate kid who still spinning out frequently. He seems to be steering in and out of turns with too much steering input (it seems) and digs in to spin. My question is, what would be a good way to counter that on setup? Camber or caster change? Looking for maybe something small to adjust. Only 2nd year, so experience is the big one. Hopefully question makes sense. I’m still a little confused on tight vs loose, as far as how to describe his conditions Obviously looking for general suggestions. Running ‘19 pursuit. Thanks
Good advise above. The comment about steering into the turn too much makes we question the caster setting. What caster are you running? Also what air pressure? It's always good to remind young drivers to be smooth on the wheel.

10/12.

10 LF/12 RF. 5/4 air. And yes, he needs some seasoning for sure. I do think he oversteers a bit, which was kind of original question. However, taking it to Slack to get the kart reset to baseline basically. Then we can go from there. He’s done well, line wise in the past. Just inconsistent. My line of thinking is to not overload him with advice and questions, and just get him a consistent kart. Work from there.

Just curious, I never seen two L blocks stacked on the right front before and spacers instead of washers on the king pin bolts or is this normal for these karts?
Normal for a Pursuit, the L block spacer was supposed to cure a non-existent issue, we took it off all our karts. Get that LF camber down to .25 or even 0* and set the RF -2.5*. Keep front stagger at 1.5" and rear around 1"-1.25" Put tons of bite in the tires until he's confident and smooth.

Yea, pretty close. Cross is at 62.7. Recommend 57-63. Not sure if bumping that number down might help a little. The camber on left front is about +1.25. Slightly over the .5 recommended. Everything else should be very close to the baseline setup.
Slightly over is a alot when it comes to lf camber,+1.25 vrs+.5 is way over

By the looks of the spacer block in right front it’s in front hole it’s supposed to be in the rear hole I fought this 6 races till I found out I was in wrong hole wouldn’t turn then snapped loose. Some people love that block but my daughter don’t like it’s matter of preference.
