It has flex via a coupling in the shaft. No need for expensive splined shafts. There is a connection on the right side . With full length support on the twins .
Still must be 24" each shaft .
A spline connection would allow some flex .

Batesville is about as rough as it gets, not one issue.I would guess a decent amount considering KT’s don’t have a balance shaft and being on dirt if the track is super rough, I’d say there’s probably some stress on it coming into play. Especially if the track is rough and you have bite because the LR and RR rails aren’t static in the corners and don’t match eachother in that motion.
They don't fire at the same time. How in the world do you synchronize that kinda mayhem?
Better have it pointed in the right direction when you hit the loud pedal They spin up quick.I was thinking you don't . Just stab and steer !
About as simple as it gets. Your thinking is wrong.I know from experience that the amount of work goes up by the square of the number of engines.
Twin engine = 4x the work
Triple engine = 9x the work?
YIKES!
I admire the ingenuity though!

Insert the hand held starter and fire it up just like any other.Just show me the cranking procedure!!
Doesn't need it.Anyone notice the common jackshaft for all 3 motors going behind the seat? That thing has no support/bearing hangars for almost 2 feet
I was at 370-375 with my twins but, I was about 10-15 lbs heavier myself at the 2015 GN.What does it weigh? My twin setup is on the heavy side. later Chuck.

I want in on this.... but I’m bringing a single open jica. Why do it? Isn't one of our UAS principals Ingenuity? To encourage innovation?
Rainman, I would accept your challenge of my stock twins against your one (1) 100cc ICA, on dirt! Only if we were closer together.
